ABOUT ME:

Dara Teller, LCSW

Ever since I was an adolescent, I knew that one of my life purposes and passion was to do something in the psychological realm. Making a positive impact in someones life and helping them flourish into their best self is one of the most rewarding feelings.

My own life path has been filled with challenges that I had to overcome from a young age and on my path of self healing, I realized that the therapeutic world was missing so much of what I needed and only a rare few "understood me." That is when I made the promise to myself to give to others what I witnessed was missing and to be open to sharing my own insight, education and research. I have cultivated the empathy, knowledge and skills needed to dedicate my time to the well-being of all my clients and go above and beyond to cater to their needs. Therapy is not a 'one method works for all' - therefore as I get to know my clients, I can alter my approaches to best guide them.

I truly care for all of my clients and work diligently to guide them into finding the answers they seek within themselves or provide resources that will be beneficial for their therapeutic healing.
